Diane moved from Boulder, Colorado to North Carolina in December of 2008. She has a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Northern Colorado and for 10 years, was a graphic designer in Denver, Colorado.
Her paintings reflect the influence of studying The Art of Color Seeing—a unique approach to refining the ability to see color and capture the effects of light—an approach taught by Henry Hensche. She has studied with Chuck Ceraso, Ken Valastro, Kevin Weckbach and has taken workshops taught by Tim Horn and Quang Ho.
Diane is an award winning painter working primarily in oils, and currently living in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. She has taught workshops in Rockport, Texas for several years and squeezes in painting excursions to Colorado and New Mexico and other locations as often as she can.
